His uncle Bakhtaur is the leader of Punjab's leading political parties, and has a very different and passionate way of thinking. Rajveer meets Simarpreet through a theatre group called Bharti Lok Manch from the village and falls in love with her. But tragically she dies and it breaks him. One day, there was an attack on the political party and two people die. Raj decides enough is enough and sets about changing his life and his ways. He decides to adopt Kranti, a small young girl in need of a father figure. Still wanting to reedem himself, he sets up a show called Jamura. It proves to be extremely successful as feedback from an NRI who contacts him suggests that the show is going from strength to strength. Soon, he gains alot of support and wanting to take the show to new heights, he gets help to promote the show using all social media outlets. All this new found fame and attention attracts the attention of certain members of the political party who become jealous of Raj and his increased popularity. They attack him, and tragically he dies. Raj's supporters come to know of his death and those responsible, they attack them and gain revenge. 20 years later, Jamura is reborn now fronted by Kranti and once more is enjoying the success it deserves. Raj's legacy lives on within her and the show.
