The Fall Guy's record-breaking cannon roll stunt is spotlighted in an action-packed new featurette for the film. Ryan Gosling leads The Fall Guy's cast as Colt Seavers, a stuntman working on his ex's big-budget movie who must use his action hero skills to rescue the film's missing star. The film, which is directed by David Leitch and also stars Emily Blunt as Jody, Colt's ex, has been hailed in the first reviews as a highly effective action comedy with some standout stunts.

Now, ahead of The Fall Guy's release date later this spring, Universal Pictures shares a new behind-the-scenes featurette, revealing the cannon roll stunt from the movie that set a new Guinness World Record. Check it out below:

As revealed in the clip, the first attempt at the roll didn't quite go to plan, so Gosling's stunt double, Ryan Holladay, suited up for another try. While the previous world record for a cannon roll was 7 rolls, Holladay ended up completing eight and a half.
